SAE Information

SAE's are designed to help students learn by doing. There are 4 types of SAE's that a students project can fit under they are:EntrepreneurshipPlacement, Exploratory, and Research and Experimentation

Entrepreneurship- Where you can be your own boss! All you have to do is own and operate an agriculture-related business or enterprise, make management decisions, and take financial risk with the ultimate goal of earning a profit.

Placement- If you enjoy working for someone else, this area is for you! Members will gain experience and knowledge with the potential to be paid. Paid or unpaid hours worked must occur outside of your regularly scheduled agricultural education class.

Exploratory- This is where you explore agriculture in one of a variety of ways.  You may attend an agricultural career day or prepare a scrapbook on the work of a veterinarian.

 

Research and Experimentation- If you like to conduct research or analyze information, you may want to consider this SAE. As part of your research SAE, you verify and demonstrate or learn about scientific principles in ag
